कोरियामा मलाई मन पर्ने कुरामध्ये एउटा हो—यहाँको खाना। किम्ची, त्तोकबोकी, कोरियन BBQ देखि विभिन्न प्रकारका सुपसम्म, हरेक परिकार नयाँ अनुभवजस्तो लाग्छ।

विद्यालयका दिनहरू कति सरल थिए। भारी झोला, गृहकार्यको चिन्ता, साथीहरूसँगको हाँसो र कक्षाकोठाभित्रका रमाइला पलहरू… त्यतिबेला थाहा थिएन, एक दिन यिनै दिनहरू यति धेरै सम्झना आउनेछन् भनेर।

त्यतिबेला लाग्थ्यो—हामी सधैँ यस्तै सँगै हुनेछौँ। तर समयसँगै सबै आ–आफ्नो बाटो लाग्यौँ। दूरी बढे पनि विद्यालयका ती सम्झनाहरू भने कहिल्यै टाढा हुँदैनन्।

विदेशमा बसेपछि घरका साना–साना कुराको महत्व बुझिँदो रहेछ। परिवारको आवाज, घरको खाना, आफ्नै भाषामा कुरा गर्ने मान्छे अनि “खाना खायौ?” भनेर सोध्ने कोही… यी कुराहरू धेरै याद आउँछन्।
