If you’re living in Korea, you’ll definitely hear “추석 (Chuseok)” everywhere this week! Chuseok is one of Korea’s biggest traditional holidays, often compared to a Korean Thanksgiving. It’s a time when families gather, share traditional food, remember their ancestors, and give thanks for the year’s harvest. 📅 2026 Chuseok Holiday: September 24–27 👀 What you may notice during Chuseok: • Many people travel to their hometowns to meet family • Roads, trains and airports can be much busier • Families enjoy traditional food such as 송편 (Songpyeon) • Traditional games, cultural events and performances take place • Some businesses and services may have different operating hours 💡 No Korean family here? No problem! Chuseok can also be a great opportunity to experience Korean culture, visit traditional villages, enjoy autumn scenery, try 송편, or join local Chuseok events. Whether you’re a student, worker, or simply living in Korea — Happy Chuseok! 추석 잘 보내세요! 🌕
